Tasting Note: The 2021 Morgon Corcelette wafts from the glass with aromas of tangy raspberries, cranberries, Indian spices, iodine, rose petals and green peppercorns, with a sheath of volatile acidity. The medium-bodied palate features a keen structure of tart acids and youthful, grainy tannins, further tightened by its slate-like minerality and tied together with a sharp, stony finish.

The Winery

Beaujolais legend Jean Foillard and son Alex craft exceptional wines from their 21-hectare estate. Employing organic, minimal-intervention methods inspired by Jules Chauvet, they produce pure, expressive wines. Their meticulous approach, from pesticide-free vineyards to gentle, low-sulfite winemaking, results in elegant, terroir-driven Beaujolais. Aged in oak or concrete, these wines showcase the region's unique character with remarkable clarity and finesse.
