Domaine Matrot is a prestigious, family-owned estate nestled in the heart of Meursault, in Burgundy's famed Côte de Beaune. For nearly two centuries, the estate has been dedicated to producing expressive, terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The philosophy of the domaine is simple yet profound: "A wine must be the reflection of its terroir and its vintage." This principle guides every decision, from careful vineyard work to gentle winemaking, ensuring each bottle truly speaks of its origin.
The Sixth Generation: The estate is now in the hands of sisters Adèle and Elsa Matrot, representing the sixth generation of the family. They work alongside their parents, Thierry and Pascale, combining deep respect for tradition with a modern, precise approach to viticulture and winemaking.
