Description

Winemaker Note: Aligoté is a historic Burgundian grape variety but a little forgotten. The vines are planted in Meursault. The wine is fruity, lively and crisp and can be enjoyed on its own or with a fruit liqueur (Kir).

The Winery

Domaine Matrot, located in the heart of Burgundy, is a family-owned winery with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Known for producing elegant and balanced wines, particularly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the estate practices sustainable viticulture. Their focus on minimal intervention allows the unique terroir of Meursault and surrounding appellations to shine through in each bottle.
