Tasting Note: Clos de Vougeot is a wine of harmony—rounded, ample, fleshy, structured, and elegant, with a deep red color verging on dark ruby. Its bouquet is remarkably intense, blending rich red and black fruit (cherry, blackberry, cassis) with vanilla, spice, underbrush, violet, and, with age, hints of fur. On the palate, it is generous and full-bodied, with fine tannins, gentle acidity, and a long aromatic finish.
