Winemaker Note: Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits wines delight the palate of the informed wine taster. By a steady and brilliant color, this wine invites you to wine tasting offering a palette of aromas nuanced with red and black fruit such a heady bouquet. In the mouth he astonish with its length and its power but also by its fineness and generosity. Although classical in its making-process, it will surprise the wine taster and will encourage into few infidelity.

The Winery

Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, established in Vosne-Romanée since 1620, is an eight-generation family estate spanning approximately 30 hectares across 35 appellations. They produce primarily red wines from Pinot Noir and white wines from Chardonnay, adhering to traditional Burgundian methods. Vincent Mongeard, the current winemaker, employs careful vinification techniques, including mostly destemming (except for Richebourg, where one-third of the stems are retained), and moderate sulfuring to preserve the wines.
