Description

Winemaker Note:This is undoubtedly the domaine's most massive Pommard. Powerful, it is a jewel-in-the-rough that needs time to refine its many facets. Its superb crimson colour leads to a nose with notes of slightly jammy fresh fruit - burlat cherries, strawberries and raspberries - with a hint of undergrowth. The mouthfeel is bold, mineral and powerful. Noble tannins are present and persistent.

The Winery

In 1985, Jean-Louis Moissenet entered the wine business under his grandfather, Henri Lamarche’s guidance and established Domaine Moissenet Bonnard on a 6-hectare estate. One hectare is dedicated to 90-year-old vines in the renowned Epenots vineyard. Emmanuelle-Sophie has led the estate since 2014, focusing on minimal treatments and biodiversity. Their wines reflect the terroir with authenticity.
