Description

Tasting Note: Much more discreet though not invisible wood is present on the essence of red cherry, plum and earth-inflected aromas. Once again there is fine mid-palate density to the sappy and extract-rich medium-bodied flavors that possess a taut muscularity that really comes up on the robust and very firm finish that is a bit chewy if not actually tough. While I doubt that this will ultimately be as refined as it usually is with age, it should still be very good and possibly even excellent.
