Tasting Note: A softly oaked nose offers up more elegant notes of plum, cassis and spice that are nuanced by ample earth and sauvage hints. There is outstanding volume to the muscular and naturally sweet, full-bodied and impressively concentrated flavors that brim with dry extract that imparts a velvety mouthfeel and buffers the firm tannic spine shaping the youthfully austere, nicely complex and bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This needs to develop more depth but it's quite promising all the same.
