Tasting Note:Firm reduction masks the fruit that is clearly ripe. Otherwise, the medium-bodied flavors possess an appealingly succulent texture that contrasts markedly with the chewy, serious, austere and again slightly drying finish. The supporting tannins seem ripe but it's not clear that this will harmonize either.


The Winery
Pascal Marchand's career, marked by a stint as a merchant seaman and early success at Comte Armand's Clos des Epeneaux, reflects a deep respect for nature and organic viticulture. His experience at Domaine de la Vougeraie and collaborations worldwide solidified his reputation as a leading "flying winemaker," culminating in the creation of Maison Marchand-Tawse, built on strong industry connections and a commitment to biodynamic practices.
