Tasting Note: The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle Rouge (Duc de Magenta) is shaping up nicely, unwinding in the glass to reveal aromas of cherries, rose petals, sweet berries, spices and espresso roast. Medium to full-bodied, lively and muscular, with chalky tannins and a concentrated core of fruit, it will reward bottle age.
