Winemaker Note: Our Beaune 1er Cru Les vignes franches is a dry, red wine. The red wines harvested in the center and the southern part of the Beaune area, are tannic and powerful. Their colour is generally dark and the aromas contain both, animal and fruit (berries). Those, harvested in thge north, show a less intense colour and have a great suppleness.

The Winery

The Domaine's journey began with a devastating loss in 1983 when the three siblings suddenly lost their father. They took over the vineyard and approached winemaking with passion. With over 9 hectares of vineyard in Beaune, including Batard Montarchet, they honor the tradition of winemaking as a cherished inheritance. They craft wines distinguished by their precision by exercising minimal control in the vineyard and embracing traditional Burgundian methods.
