The Winery

Marc Delienne, a wine enthusiast, formed deep connections in the Vallée du Rhône and Languedoc over 30 years. After a successful banking career, he transitioned to winemaking, working at Domaine de Trévallon with Eloi Dürrbach in 2012. He crafted his first Gamays with Alain Graillot in 2014. In 2015, he purchased a Fleurie estate, built a vat room, and began organic conversion, resulting in a promising crop for Domaine Marc Delienne.


Fleurie is a well known Cru Beaujolais wine appellation for red wines from the Gamay grape variety. The wines are some of the most highly regarded in the region, which is sometimes referred to as "The Queen of Beaujolais".


Gamay (Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc in full) is most famous for producing the light, fruit-driven red wines of Beaujolais. While the variety offers fresh, red-fruit and candied aromas, it typically delivers little in the way of flavor concentration and body weight, giving light, simple wines. That said, some well-made examples can be deep and complex.
