Winemaker Note: The nose reveals the greatness of Meursault: a bouquet blending notes of candied lemon, bay leaf, herbs, and iodine, counterpointed by a few woody notes. There's a great deal of distinction. The palate reveals a taut yet sensual Meursault that unfolds its rich fruitiness with as much pleasure as nobility, and great balance. Lovely bitter notes energize the finish, and one then thinks of cooking rare fish, rock fish, and festive poultry.
