Tasting Note: Medium brick colored, it leaps from the glass offering bold baked black cherries, dried plums and rose hip tea scents with touches of dried herbs, new leather and camphor plus a suggestion of powdered cinnamon. Medium-bodied with just 13% alcohol, the palate has a solid frame of firm, grainy, wonderfully ripe tannins supporting bags of pure black fruit preserves, finishing long and lively.
