Tasting Note: This is even more floral-suffused on the nose of forest floor, essence of red cherry and plenty of earth character that is picked up by the vibrant and beautifully textured medium weight flavors that possess better depth on the persistent and balanced finale. This is a lovely Gevrey villages and worth checking out.

The Winery

Philippe Pacalet, a celebrated winemaker in Burgundy, honed his craft under the guidance of his uncle, Marcel Lapierre, a pioneer in natural winemaking and worked for Domaine Prieure Roch for 10 years. Known for his minimal intervention approach, Pacalet produces elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that capture the essence of their terroir. His commitment to organic practices and traditional methods results in wines of purity and complexity, distinguishing his winery in the region.As Philippe did his civil service in the Northern Rhône, he felt it was time to give back to Syrah, and his friendship with Thierry Allemand.
