Tasting Note: In contrast to the 1992, the 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon (once again unfined and unfiltered) is more precocious and flattering with seemingly lower acidity, a more velvety texture, wonderful richness, and an opulent, forward, cassis fruitiness that is easy to understand. Highly-extracted, rich and full, with no hard edges, unlike the more structured and tannic 1992, the 1993 will be drinkable upon release and age effortlessly for 20-25 years.
