Winemaker Note: Aligoté wines are dry white wines, lively and fruity. They are bottled early in order to preserve their freshness and fruitiness. Their colour can be likened to white gold and their perfume is reminiscent of grapes and green apples. Their liveliness and acidity make them excellent as an appetizer or aperitif.

The Winery

Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, established in Vosne-Romanée since 1620, is an eight-generation family estate spanning approximately 30 hectares across 35 appellations. They produce primarily red wines from Pinot Noir and white wines from Chardonnay, adhering to traditional Burgundian methods. Vincent Mongeard, the current winemaker, employs careful vinification techniques, including mostly destemming (except for Richebourg, where one-third of the stems are retained), and moderate sulfuring to preserve the wines.
