Tasting Note: Wafting from the glass with notes of cherries, raspberries and plums mingled with raw cocoa and candied peel, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with a ripe core of nicely concentrated fruit, powdery tannins and lively acids. This cuvée saw one of the later malolactic fermentations of the range and took its time to come together, but it is more and more promising.

The Winery
Founded in 1965, today Gilbert Felettig presides over just over 13 hectares, divided among fully 100 parcels—a statistic that drives home just how morcellated Burgundy's vineyards are.
