Tasting Note: The bright and agreeably fresh nose displays even more spice elements that include anise, clove and hoisin on the red and dark currant aromas along with a background hint of crushed leaf character. The medium weight flavors are also rich, generous and velvety that contrasts somewhat with the youthfully austere, firm and moderately structured finale. Note that this could be enjoyed young if desired though because it could use better depth, I would be inclined to cellar it at least over the mid-term.
