Tasting Note: A mature, complex nose of stewed cherries, dried rose petals, forest floor, leather, and sous-bois (undergrowth). The palate is broad and expansive, with the tannins now softened and integrated from nearly a decade of age. Flavors of dark cherry, spice, and earthy truffle lead to a long, savory finish. This is a wine at its peak drinking window, showing the glorious secondary characteristics of aged Pinot Noir.
