Description

Tasting Note: This selection has obviously benefit from better quality fruit in this warm vintage. Le Lucére offers sweet berry notes with abundant blackberry and dried cassis. As the wine opens in the glass, it begins to show tobacco, leather and exotic spice. One thing that San Filippo has nailed is color. This wine sports a beautifully translucent ruby hue. Toasted notes of charred nut and espresso appear once the bouquet has had the opportunity to open fully. In the mouth, the wine is slightly abrupt and the tannins are astringent.
