Description

Tasting Note: The expressive 2020 Finca Remota was produced with grapes from their vineyard in Paraje Altamira and is pure Malbec with good ripeness reflecting a warm and dry year. It has 14.5% alcohol and a full-bodied palate with polished tannins. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in new and second use French oak barrels of different sizes—225-, 300- (mostly) and some 500-liter ones. There are notes of ripe berries, more black than red fruit and the vibrant tannins from Altamira. It is powerful, balanced and reflecting the variety, place and vintage. Classical powerful Malbec.
