Description
Tasting Note: Intensely fragrant and lifted. Classic Marlborough varietal notes of lime zest, grapefruit flesh, and gooseberry are layered with subtle curry leaf and a refined, smoky flint reduction. Additional nuances of green apple skin, wet linen, and a saline brine character add complexity.

The Winery
Greywacke (pronounced Greywacky) is the Marlborough label of the Judd family and the name of New Zealand’s most abundant bedrock. These understated grey river stones are found throughout Marlborough’s rivers and alluvial vineyard soils. Kevin Judd moved to New Zealand in 1983 and worked for Cloudy Bay for 25 years. He then started Greywacke since 2009
