Winemaker Note: The vineyard of Auxey Duresses is located next to a valley, between Meursault and Monthelie. A black berry bouquet with a tart finish and textured tannins. A powerful wine when young, the tannins soften and the wine unveils itself when opened after a few years.

The Winery

Domaine Matrot, located in the heart of Burgundy, is a family-owned winery with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Known for producing elegant and balanced wines, particularly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the estate practices sustainable viticulture. Their focus on minimal intervention allows the unique terroir of Meursault and surrounding appellations to shine through in each bottle.
