Winemaker Note: A deep, structured wine which maintains a silky texture on the palate, our Chas-sagne-Montrachet village, Champs de Morgeot lives up to its reputation as a powerful, long-keeping red from the great "Morgeot" climat. The area, situated on alluvial deposits of sand and silt, lies at the foot of the slope. The "Champs de Morgeot" cuvée benefits from high stoniness. Its relatively low clay content allows for finesse in the wine's tannic profile.
