Tasting Note: The Clos Badon 2014, which Jean-Luc Thunévin told me he farmed organically for the first time, shows some signs of sur-maturité on the nose. It is decadent and powerful, but it does not have the same purity as say, the Virginie de Valandraud. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry: plush in the mouth with plenty of creamy new oak, quite dense, but it needs to demonstrate more finesse by the time of bottling
