Tasting note: Here the wood influence is a bit more obvious with very strong petrol aromas that are comprised mostly by floral and soil tones. The extremely rich, indeed opulent, large scaled flavors brim with dry extract and evident power on the sappy, clean and dry finish. This generously proportioned effort doesn't have the aging potential, minerality or the refinement of the Corton-Charlemagne but it's still really quite good if not distinguished.
