Description

Tasting Notes: Deep amber with golden highlights, showing its age and concentration. Intense and complex, with aromas of dried apricots, candied orange peel, honey, rose petals, and exotic spices like clove and nutmeg. Mature oxidative notes of caramel and dried figs are also present. Lusciously sweet yet balanced, with layers of rich tropical fruit (mango, lychee), honey, and marmalade. The texture is unctuous, with a lingering finish showing notes of baking spices and dried fruit. Despite its age, it retains a remarkable freshness. Ideal with foie gras, blue cheese, or as a decadent dessert wine on its own.
