Description

Tasting Note: 2015 was a warm and powerful year with tannins, and the 2015 Reserva shows ripeness and jammy fruit, with plenty of spice and a powerful, full-bodied palate. It has 14.2% alcohol and a pH of 3.55. They used a little new oak here, 20%, and they used mostly French (70%) but also 30% American oak barrels, where the wine matured for 17 months. They like this style of San Vicente, powerful and ripe fruit, concentrated and expressive.
