Tasting Note: A great showing, the 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Mourre des Perdrix (70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and a splash of Cinsault) shows ample spice and ground herb characteristics intermixed with lots of loamy soil, kirsch and sweet cherry nuances. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and silky, with notable freshness and purity, it should drink nicely in its youth and have 10-15 years of overall longevity.
