Description

Winemaker Note: This plot is called Chaillots, which in patois means pebbles. The particularity of this terroir is a stony and therefore well-drained soil. It gives complex wines with fruity notes (cherry, blackberry), then undergrowth when aged.

The Winery

uit-Saint-Georges has long been celebrated for its powerful expression of Burgundy Pinot Noir. However, under the leadership of Fabienne Bony at Domaine Bony Gachet, a new era of femininity and elegance has emerged in Nuit-Saint-Georges. Since assuming ownership in 2001, she has made impactful changes at the winery, such as bottling her own wine and reducing production to emphasize higher quality. By minimizing chemical treatments in the vineyard and achieving High Environmental Value certification, they have elevated their commitment to sustainability. The result is a wine that is known for its cleanliness, elegance, and purity, much like the renowned Chambolle-Musigny, as envisioned by Fabienne Bony.
