Description

Tasting note: A slightly cooler nose offers up notes of green apple, mineral reduction, smoke and plenty of citrus characters. There is almost painful intensity to the sleekly muscular soil-inflected big bodied flavors that conclude in a very dry but again not really especially austere finale that delivers outstanding persistence. This lightly wooded effort is clearly built-to-age and a wine that's going to need at least 6 to 8 years first and should amply reward 12 to 15.
