Medium to deep garnet/purple, the Shiraz Reserve has a youthfully mute nose exuding crushed blackberries and wild blueberries dotted with notes of cloves, pepper and anise. Big, voluptuous and full-bodied in the mouth, it has tons of spice, black fruit and savory flavors that are shaped by firm, grainy tannins and a long finish. - WA
Noon Winery is a boutique wine producer located in McLaren Vale in South Australia. It is known for its red wines – full bodied expressions of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz that all tend to sell out quickly. The winery was founded in 1976 by David Noon, who until then had mostly sold the fruit from his 4 hectare (10 acre) property to other producers. A strong desire to make his own wine saw him begin to make a small amount each vintage, until his son Drew took over as full time winemaker in 1996.
