The winery Bodegas Hispano Suizas elaborates this 2006 Bassus Premium , a red wine from Utiel-Requena vinified with syrah, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and bobal from 2006.
Bodegas Hispano Suizas is in Utiel-Requena, one of the viticultural areas in Spain with the greatest tradition. The winery was built in 1905 and restored in 2009. All the wines are produced from the 61ha of owned vineyards, predominantly around the property. The planted varietals are a mix of indigenous Bobal and international, which includes Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Their grapes are all handpicked with each vine yielding very little fruit, just over one bottle per vine, thereby giving fantastic intensity and purity.
