Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Abercrombie Cabernet Sauvignon displays pronounced notes of crushed black currants, mulberries and black plums with nuances of dark chocolate, cloves, cigar boxes and black olives. Medium-full bodied, it offers a generous amount of black berry and spice flavors in the mouth, well supported by crisp acid and a high level of finely grained tannins. The finish is long with lingering mulberry and chocolate notes. -WA
