An exceptional and sophisticated wine with vibrant cherry notes, balanced cedar wood and rich dark chocolate flavours. This wine was matured in 225 litre new French oak barrels for 20 months.
Characteristics:
Delicate aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant, forest floor and cedarwood. Classically structured mouthfeel with a supple texture, complex layers and a focused linearity on the finish. Lively and complex and long aftertaste. Grapes sourced from Stellenbosch, blend of 70% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Matured on 225 liter French oak for 18 months. Ageing potential of at least 15 years from vintage!
