Vosne-Romanée is a hallowed commune in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, combining a number of famous and much-prized grand and premier cru vineyards with a raft of stellar names and a captivating history.
The dominant red wine grape of Burgundy, Pinot Noir is now adopted and adored in wine regions all over the world. The variety's elusive charm has carried it to all manner of vineyards around the world and as of 2016, it was the sixth most-planted grape variety.
tasting note: "In this wine, rounded notes of ripe, aromatic cherry immediately promise ripeness. They are edged with a conifer perfume that promises freshness.
