Description

TERROIR

The majority of the grapes come from the area of Brouilly, Quincié and St Etienne des Oullières in the Beaujolais region. The soils here are granite-based and sandy, with some light clay and lie at an altitude varying between 200 and 450 metres.

VINIFICATION

According to the Beaujolais tradition, the whole clusters of grapes undergo a short vatting time, under controlled temperature to obtain a maximum fruity taste.

TASTING NOTES

Deep purplish red in color. The nose is elegant with red and exotic fruit aromas and a nice liveliness. The mouth is full-bodied and well-balanced. This Beaujolais-Villages is typical of Gamay, at once fruity and fleshy.

GASTRONOMICAL SUGGESTIONS

Serve at 14°C

It will be a perfect match for simple dishes like poultry, red meat, delicatessen and cheese. To be enjoyed while young, it can be cellared up to one year.
