Cesari Amarone della Valpolicella Bosan Riserva 2011

Gerardo Cesari is a wine estate founded in 1936 in the Veneto region of Italy. It is known for its traditional DOC and varietal IGT wines from the region, and in the 1970s, Cesari Amarone was one of the first to reach all five continents. Since then, the winery has aimed to maintain a presence around the world. The estate comprises 100 hectares (247 acres) of land in Valpolicella and Lugana. This includes the Bosan, Il Bosco, Jema and Cento Filari vineyards, which are all intended for top quality production. Owner and winemaker Franco Cesari, the son of founder Gerardo Cesari, oversees every phase of the growing and winemaking process for these top vineyards.
