A treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds, our Rose champagne is a subtle marriage of red fruit and flowers. The gorgeous salmon pink colour is achieved by adding a little local red wine which has been aged for a year in oak barrels. Fresh, generous and delightful at any moment.
This small maison was founded in 1956 in the grand cru village of Ay by Guy and Therese Dauby and is now run by Francine Dauby and her daughter Flore. Their 8 hectares of vines extend over the communes of Ay, Mutigny, Mareuil-sur-Ay, Avenay and Barbonne-Fayel. The agronomic consumption is in a reasoned struggle, with the grassing of the rows and without the use of chemical fertilizers and insecticides. In the cellar a wooden vertical press is used according to tradition and each parcel is vinified separately. The reserve wines are stored in wooden barrels of different sizes.
