The 2016 Bourgogne Grands Chaillots is showing very well, offering up a rich bouquet of berry fruit, dark chocolate and toasty new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with succulent acids and powdery structuring tannins, concluding with a sapid and delicately oak-inflected finish. - WA

The Winery

Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair is a Pinot Noir producer located in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, France. The Marey and Liger-Belair families have been involved with the vineyards, sale, and trade of Burgundian wines for well over a century, but it was not until 2001 that Thibault Liger-Belair created Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair to exploit the family's historic and noteworthy vineyards.
