The Aligot矇 produces a white wine of a very pale golden colour with green high-lights ; when swirled it reveals a superb aroma of white flowers and newly mown hay. Slightly mineral tones can be detected on the nose. The attack on the palate is charming, offering immediate pleasure.
The Aligot矇 goes well with charcuterie, salad, sea-food and andouillette-sausages. It is also perfect as an aperitif with golden goug癡res cheese-pastries or mixed with cassis, black-currant liquor, to obtain the famous kir.
Domaine Rapet Pere et Fils is a Burgundy wine estate situated in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. The family-owned domaine can trace its foundations back to 1765, and is today managed by Vincent Rapet. The domaine now spans 20 hectares (50 acres) of land that encompasses three grand cru vineyard sites in Corton, and nine premier cru vineyard plots across the villages of Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Savigny-les-Beaune. The domaine also makes four village-level wines from vineyard holdings in Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-les-Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses. Unusually, Domaine Rapet Pere et Fils produces a single Bourgogne Aligote wine from its 1-ha (2-acre) plot of Aligote vines.
