Behind its clear ruby color, Nuits Saint Georges 2015 offers rich floral notes, red and black fruits with notes of saffron. Silky texture, well integrated tannins and long finish. It is very elegant with well defined aromas and flavours and such an enjoyable silky texture. Approachable now, but has a great potential for ageing.
Chateau de Pommard is an estate located in the Burgundy appellation with which it shares its name. Though best known for its Pommard wines, the portfolio also includes a range of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from throughout the Cote d'Or. These include Grand Cru wines from Corton-Charlemagne, Mazis-Chambertin and Echezaux. As well as two distinct chateau buildings, the domaine boasts a 20-hectare (50 acre) walled vineyard, Clos Marey-Monge. This Village-level Pommard site is the largest monopole in the Cote d'Or.
