"The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Village was matured in 50% new oak. It has a backward bouquet, very tight and perhaps missing some charm at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, crisp red and black fruit with a touch of white pepper, although the new oak feels too domineering towards the finish, rendering it a little generic compared to its peers." - The Wine Advocate

He runs his own domaine at the same time he has been the winemaker of his wife's Domaine (i.e. Domaine A.-F. Gros) since its creation.
