A mellow red that feels the fragrance and aged incense of berry-based red fruits. The balance of subtle acidity and tannin is pleasant, and a long finish makes me realize the goodness of making. Under the superb vinfication director Nadine G羹bran, the typical style of Burgundy is now built up of a rich aroma of colorful, fresh red fruits.
Antonin Rodet is a wine producer and negociant based in the village of Mercurey in Burgundy. Founded in 1875 by Antoine Rodet, today the estate makes a broad portfolio of wines from its 80 hectares (198 acres) of vineyards at Chateau de Rully and Chateau de Mercey, as well as working alongside wine growers from across Beaujolais, the Rhone Valley and Chablis, to name but a few. All grapes grown and sourced by the estate are cultivated using sustainable viticultural practices and grape yields are kept low. The Antonin Rodet winery is fitted with modern vinification equipment including concrete, thermo-regulated and stainless steel vats.
