Description

A sleeper of the vintage, this St.-Emilion exhibits plenty of black currant, black cherry, incense and Christmas fruitcake notes as well as hints of licorice and tobacco leaf. Well-made, medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent. - WA

The Winery

A Grand Cru vineyard, located in the western part of St. Emilion, next to the Chateau Angelus. In fact, it was part of Chateau Angelus from 1947 to 1984. Due to the realization of a new wine cellar and vinification facilities, this estate became independence from Chateau Angelus in 1984.
